I love the Fall. Truth be told, I love all the seasons, but I think I really, really, really like the Fall. It is an awakening before the slumber of winter when all things rest. It is a reminder we should enjoy the outdoors while we can; especially if we forgot to enjoy it during the summer... The brisk coolness of mornings and evenings invigorate me giving credence to its presence. And then there is the warm sun of mid-day to taunt us and lull us into thinking summer will linger forever.
I especially enjoy the late Fall on a cloudy day when the moisture from the wet, warm earth lingers in the air enveloping me; holding me. The earth and sky become one in the denseness as Mother Nature wraps her mysterious arms around me allowing me to become one with her and her domain in all her brilliance.
